This plaquette, probably made in the late 16th or early 17th century Spain, represents St. Dominic holding a crucifix and a book.

Physical description

Plaquette in brass of St. Dominic wearing the habit of the Dominican order with a star on his breast. He holds a crucfix and a book and at his feet are a hound, with a torch in its mouth, and a orb. In the left upper corners is the sun.
