This plaquette, probably made in the late 16th or early 17th century Spain, represents Christ bound. There are the variants of this plaquette in the museum (A. 38-1925, A. 79-1930).

Brief description | Plaquette Christ bound, gilt brass. Spanish late 16th and early 17th century. |
Physical description | Plaquette in gilt brass, Christ bound. Christ is represented as a three-quarter length figure, naked to the waist. Round the throat and hands is knotted a cord. On the head is the crown of thorns and at the right side a plain staff. There is also an aureore behind the head and there are two leaves on the staff. |
