This plaquette, 'A Sacrifice to Cupid', is made in North Italy, Padua or Milan, by a master signing his medals with L.C.I. or L.C.RII.S.

He was a medallist apparently working in Padua, or perhaps Milan, working in close connection with Riccio. The artist hasn't been identified, nor has either form of the signature or monogram been explained.
