This medal is made by G.F. Pieri (active around 1710) and depicts on the obverse the bust of Gian Gastone de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, facing right.
Gian Gastone de'Medici was the 7th and last of the Medici family to become Grand duke of Tuscany. He was the second son of Cosimo III de' Medici and Marguerite Louise d'Orléans.

Rev.: A lion and a female figure offering crown and sceptre to Giangastone.
