On the reverse is Bellerophon mounted on Pegasus killing the monster Chimera.

Medal depcits on the obverse the bust of Philip to the left, wearing a cloak over armour. Round his neck the chain of the Golden Fleece. Inscription. On the reverse Bellerophon mounted on Pegasus, killing the Chimaera. Inscription.
