This medal depicts the jurisconsult Giovanni Alvise Toscani (d. 1475) and is made by Lysippus in ca. 1475.
Lysippus was a medalist of the second half of the fifteenth century (active 1470-1484) and a nephew of Cristoforo di Geremia.
