This medal was issued on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Kingdom of Italy (1861). It is made by two medallists, the obverse by Giovanni Colucci (b. 1892) and the reverse by Publio Morbiducci (1889-1963).

Medal, bronze, 50th Anniversary of Proclamation of Kingdom of Italy (1861), by Giovanni Colucci and Publio Morbiducci, Italy, probably 1911
Physical description
Obverse: Four naked men kneeling and supporting a rectangular plaque on which is an inscription.
Reverse: in the top half a man is walking behind two oxen silhouetted against the rays of the sun. Underneath are the dates MMDCXIV and MMDCLXIV and a roundel with a handle on either side with inscription.
