This medal was issued to commemorate the King's Trophy Competition and to 'encourage the youth in the hope that friendly competition and efficient training may help it to forge new links of Empire', as stated on the reverse as part of the inscription. It was made by Percy Metcalfe in England in ca. 1925-30.
