Cupid stands with his right arm rasied, his left holding his bow which rests endwise on the ground at his right side. There is a long scarf shaped drapery loosely twisted over his right shoulder and round his body and knotted in front. The figure is signed on the base 'P.V.B', the monogram of Jan Pieter Baurscheit the Younger.

Physical description
Figure in marble. Cupid stands with his right arm raised, his left holding his bow, which rests endwise on the ground at his right side. A long scarf shaped drapery is loosely twisted over his right shoulder, round his body and knotted in front. It is signed on the base. The tip of the left wing is broken and the object (an arrow) from the right hand is missing.
