This medal depicting Sir Winston Churchill was made by the medallists K. C. Hunt and A. M. Foley, in England in 1965, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
On the reverse is an inscription reading: 'Not so easily shall the Lights of Freedom Die', a quote from a speech made by Churchill in 1941.
