Torso figure in bone, Christ on the cross. His head, wearing a twisted stylised crown of thorns, leans to his left shoulder. The arms and legs missing.

Object history
Bought from Mr Andrew Oliver, Queen's Gardens, London, along with other carvings in bone and a mother of pearl relief for a total of £3 in 1921 (for the bone carvings see: Mus. nos.: A.11-1921 and A.13-1921).
