The obverse side of this bronze medal depicts a river God recling with two sailing ships visible in the backgrounnd and flax growing in the foreground. The image on the reverse side depicts processes of textile manufacture, and three women are shown carding, spinning and weaving while in the background a man is shown working a loom.
The medal is dated 1778 and is the work on the spanish medallist, Antonio Saa.
