Physical description
Obverse: A vessel breaking into the harbour of Damietta. Below in the exergue: the arms of the City of Haarlem. Above, the motto VICIT VIM VIRTUS.
Reverse: Allegorical female, the City of Haarlem, holds a wreath in her right hand and rests her left on a printing press. A column on the left is inscribed: TYPOGRAPHIA. Below in the exergue HARLEMUM.
A little above the centre: the letters S C, for Senatus Consulto.
