the medal depicts the winged St. Michael in armour, with a round shield and a cross in his left arm held up to his chest and with a sword pointing downwards in his right hand. He stands on the shoulders of Satan, whose hands are chained together. On the reverse is a town's skyline centred on a church with a tall spire in front of a rising sun.

Obvers: the winged St. Michael in armour, with a round shield decorated with a cross in his left arm held up to his chest and with a sword pointing downwards in his right hand, stands on the shoulders of Satan, whose hands are chained together. Inscribed.
Reverse: a town's skyline centred on a church with a tall spire in front of a rising sun, framed by 2 flowers, above a crown and a round cartouche flanked by seated lions with one paw raised, above an olive branch tied with a cascading ribbon. Inscription.
