This statuette shows a child reclining facing to the left, supporting his head on his left arm which rests on an hour glass and holding a skull on his raised right knee. The figure appears on a plain shallow base and there is an inscription around the edge. This subject was not uncommon in the fifteenth century as a reminder of Mortality.

Statuette, a child with a skull and hourglass. The child is shown reclining facing to the left, supporting his head on his left arm which rests on an hour glass. He holds a skull on his raised right knee. On a plain shallow base there is an inscription around the edge.
