Clear lead crystal glass bowl, footed bowl wheel-engraved on the underside with two 'melon-slice' shaped panels, divided into three segments with hatched lines along the length of each. The centre portion is filled with a pattern of varying size oval dots.

Gallery label	One of a range of designs for industrially-made ceramics and glass by contemporary painters and other artists, an experiment aimed at improving British industrial design conceived as a result of the Gorell report into the subject, 1933. All the glassware was made by Stuart & Sons.
