This terracotta statuette representing St. Peter was made in the second half of the 16th century Germany. The saint is in half relief and holds a key in his right hand and an open book in his left. The base is decorated in front with a cherub's head in relief. The base is chipped, the paint flaked off in places. The saint wears an inner robe, painted white, and two outer robes painted scarlet and blue. The base is painted black. There are traces of gilding.
