Physical description | Statuette in wood, the Virgin and Child. The Virgin is seated supporting the Child, who holds a book in his lefthand, on her left knee. The robes are bright red and blue with remains of gilding and polychrome decoration. The right hands of both the Virgin and Child are broken away; a hole pierced in the front of the Virgin's head suggests that there was originally a metal crown. |
