This medal was issued on the occasion of the exhibition in 1910, of the Worshipful Company of Founders. It is made by A. Stanley Young in England in 1911/12.
The medal is held in its original velvet lined box which is embossed with 'God the Only Founder' in gold.

Physical description | Obverse: In the centre a shield is depicted with a coffee jug in its centre and a candlestick on each side. A helmet from a suit of armour rests above the shield with flowing decoration around the whole of the shield. At the very top of the medal are two hands using bellows to fan a fire. Inscription. Reverse: Depicts a foundry scene with two men using a hoist to tip molten metal from a cauldron into a mould. In the background is a sphinx and the head of a Pharaoh. Inscription. The medal is held in its original velvet lined box which is embossed with 'God the Only Founder' in gold. |
