Work box with a lift-out tray and silk-covered pin cushion. The back is inlaid and veneered with figured elm. The top has a satinwood stringing, a chequer border, and an octagonal print of a lady on a couch with a child. Ring handles of brass are attached to the sides with embossed back plates, and box is mounted on lion-paw feet of the same metal. The interior is lined with blue paper.

Physical description
