Figure group, representing Winter, in hard-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. On a roughly modelled oval mound base applied with mossy tufts stands a peasant leaning forward and pretending to pour wine from a jug in his right hand. He slips his left hand round the neck of a seated girl. Behind the group is a tree-stump. The open, glazed underside of the group shows signs of tool marks from press-mouldings and has four struts as support during firing.
