Wine Cooler and Cover

Wine cooler and cover of buff-coloured stoneware, moulded in relief and surrounded by figures in the round. The body is cylindrical, with concave sides and four feet resting on a circular base. Round the top are four heads of bears and foxes alternately from which hang festooned skins and vine-stems with grapes and foliage. On either side are reliefs representing respectively a bear killed by two bunters and a dead bear borne by two men. Round the base are figures in the round of four boys with two dogs, a fox and a dead deer. The cover is surmounted by two boys, reclining by a barrel on which is a basket of grapes.

Wine cooler and cover of buff-coloured stoneware, moulded in relief and surrounded by figures in the round. The body is cylindrical, with concave sides and four feet resting on a circular base.
