Holy Water Stoup

Holy water stoup of cream coloured earthenware moulded in relief with the letters 'MA' in monogram. The receptacle for the water is flat at the back and five-sided in front, narrowing to a boss at the lower end. Above it rises an escutcheon with the initials under a crown surrounded by rays in an oval medallion, with a shell above and foliated scrolls on either side.

Physical description
Holy water stoup of cream coloured earthenware moulded in relief with the letters 'MA' in monogram. The receptacle for the water is flat at the back and five-sided in front, narrowing to a boss at the lower end. Above it rises an escutcheon with the initials under a crown surrounded by rays in an oval medallion, with a shell above and foliated scrolls on either side.
