Figure group of two boys and two girls grouped round a tree on a rocky mound covered with flowering plants. One boy reaches up to a bird's nest on a branch with his knee on a cage, while a girl kneels with outstretched arms below. On the other side of tree the other boy leans forward, with a bird perched on this left hand, towards the second girl who kneels with extended arms. Another bird is perched on the rocks and a bagpipes are slung over one of the branches of the tree.
