Physical description

Toilette pot and cover of soft-paste porcelain, painted in enamel colours, in imitation of Kakiemon porcelain, with chased ormolu mount. The pot is painted with little Japanese boys at play, buildings among trees, and butterflies; the cover is also painted with a group of boys, a butterfly and a bird.
