Milk jug and cover of soft-paste porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. Pear-shaped body, gadrooned round the foot, wide neck with reeded projecting lip, scroll loop handle, slightly convex cover. The upper part of the jug is painted with elaborate lambrequin ornament partly composed of festooned drapery. Above the gadroons is a band of symmetrical scrolls. On the top of the cover is a floral device. Round the foot and the edge of the cover are borders of chevron pattern.
