Physical description
Tea canister and cover of soft-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Painted with irregular scrolled panels of different sizes, reserved on a dark scale-blue ground and outlined in gold.
[Teapoy] Tea canister of oviform shape with a short narrow cylindrical neck decorated in gilt with oval rosettes and a diaper pattern of criss-cross and dots, and spreading foot. Two panels contain, respectively, the figures of a man playing a triangle and a woman playing the guitar, both in pseudo-oriental costume.
[Cover] Small domed cover. Panels containing exotic birds, insects and foliage.
