Sauce boat of hard-paste porcelain, with scrolled edge and foot and loop handle. Moulded in low relief and painted in enamels; on each side is a cock, the crest of William Cookworthy, proprietor of the factory. The cocks are in compartments enclosed by rococo scrolls in relief. On the front is a bouquet.
