Sauce tureen with cover and spoon, of soft-paste porcelain. Oval, with shell handles; lobed cover with scrolled loop handle. Gilt edges with borders of gilt semi-circular panels each containing a scrolled shield en grisaille and crossed by narrow festoons. Painted on either side an urn hung with garlands. Scattered flowers on the cover; a bouquet inside the basin and inside the bowl of the spoon, which are decorated with the same border pattern as the basin.
