Cream jug of hard-paste porcelain transfer-printed with enamels and gilded. Of oval section with straight sides widening slightly towards the top then curving in and out to a wide lip. Handle with thumb rest. Each side has five vertical flutes. Printed with a blue version of the Willow Pattern with pagodas and trees. Under the rim is a border of Chinese designs including diapers and scrolls. The rim, base and neck are decorated with a continuous gilt band. Handle heightened in gold.
