Physical description

Snuff box of hard-paste porcelain. Rectangular, with low domed cover. Copper mounts. Purple scale-pattern ground with reserved cartouches with classical subjects, the cartouches framed with coloured rococo scrolls. Inside the cover: Venus and Adonis with cupid.
