Physical description

Snuff box of hard-paste porcelain. Cartouche shape. Gold mounts, scrolled thumb piece. Purple ground. Painted in reserves, inside cover and on bottom with harbour scenes. Framing the cover a band of gold diaper ornament with reserved oval miniature harbour scenes in purple camaïeu.
