Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Evening dress bodice of white satin, elaborately arranged in three main sections. The central midriff panel is seamed and top-stitched in a way resembling an early corset - it has a diamond shape and two fanned and seamed panels attached which form the cups. The diamond panel has a plain weave cotton interlining and is attached to a top satin lining with central darting.

Pink rouleau straps are sewn to back and front and cross over at the back. The bodice fastens with hooks and eyes.
