Workbox of "Bird's Eye" maplewood, coffer-shaped, with lines and edge of darker wood on lid, on which is a cast brass handle. A small oval of mother-of-pearl is inlaid in the centre of the lid and another has been inserted in the key-hole. The lid, which has had new hinges and been reversed, is lined with green damask, and the tray is covered with green velvet. The base has been strengthened by a piece of millboard.
