Piano and stool, England, 1830-1840, piano by J. Lambert, Collard & Collard.
Physical description
PIANO

Rosewood. Upright piano, top stage surmounted by pediment carved with egg- and dart- frieze, supported on two colonettes with corinthian capitals enclosing a panel of floral embroidery in wools and silks on canvas applied to flannel. Curved keyboard lid with two carved handles; inside on keyboard panel painted in gold:
'COLLARD AND COLLARD'
'LATE CLEMENTI, COLLARD AND COLLARD,
LONDON.'
Keyboard supported on two hexagonal pillars turned at top and bottom.

STOOL
Circular revolving seat covered with blue material supported on carved and turned pillar fixed into circular base raised on three scrolled feet.
