Ovoid body, short cylindrical neck and two twisted loop handles; the decoration in shades of blue, orange, green and yellow, consists of a blue medallion containing two grotesque animals and a dolphin supporting a cornucopia. The remaining surface is covered with interlacing floral scrolls.

Object history | Historical significance: In 1878 Ulisse Cantagalli inherited a factory in Florence and began to trade as Manifattura Figli di Giuseppe Cantagalli. His main production was of copies of Italian maiolica, but also of other European and Middle Eastern ceramics. |
