Writing desk of lacquered pine and oak, with a hinged sloping front on sliding supports, with a drawer below. Fitted inside with small drawers and pigeon holes, and lacquered inside and out with birds, flowers and vases. The decoration is partly in panels and painted in various colours on a lemon yellow ground, the background to the panels is in dark green with gilt discs. Metal mounts consist of escutcheons and there is a heavy drop handle on each side.
