A profile head carved in lapis lazuli, with gold headband and diamond-set collar which connect with the mount and help secure the head to its mount. From the neck descend eight short strings of seed pearls and one pendant of linked pearls with large pearl drop. A double pin at the back and a loop at the top to enable it to be worn as a brooch or pendant.
