Brooch in the form of a cross, the central lozenge containing a brilliant-cut white sapphire and four diamond sparks, and with the arms each set with a coloured, kite-shaped gemstone - a purple spinel and three zircons. Three bands of enamelled decoration outline the stones: the inner and outer band is of blue with black spots, the middle band is of black with a continuous white zig-zag line.
