Physical description

Butterfly of tortoiseshell decorated with gold filigree and gold hearts, with chains from which hang a filigree Maltese cross and a tortoiseshell and filigree heart. The eyes are set with cabochon rubies, the abdomen with a paste simulating ruby, each wing with a turquoise, and the cross and heart are set with a blister pearl.
