This work 'A Sign from Le Corbusier' originates from the exhibition Action - Architectures, held at the Nancy Margolis Gallery in New York in 2005. Of the exhibition Bodil Busk, Director of the Danish Museum of Art & Design herself writes: "With a series of works that penetratingly combine art and architecture in a new structural idiom, Karen Bennicke shows her strength as a great international ceramic artist who has roots in the Utopianism and Constructivism of the twentieth century, yet still relates strongly to the existential issues of her own time."
