Lock from an oak chest, wrought iron with the remains of tinning. The keyhole of the lock is concealed by a pivoted bar with spring catch. The lock has a staple-bar at either side, ornamented at the top and bottom with a quatrefoil; the bar concealing the keyhole is of similar design.

Physical description
Lock from an oak chest, wrought iron with the remains of tinning. The keyhole of the lock is concealed by a pivoted bar with spring catch. The lock has a staple-bar at either side, ornamented at the top and bottom with a quatrefoil; the bar concealing the keyhole is of similar design.
