Sample of handwoven open-weave gauze of white cotton. Taken from a pattern book. Possibly intended as a hanging. The cotton has several wefts strands alternating with single threads to form a regular pattern of three thick weft strands. One single weft strand gives a repeat of 1.3 cm.
