Border of bobbin lace. The lower wavy edge is formed of flowers, scrolls, ferns and leaves. From this spring sprays of flowers and leaves, and alternately with a single spray ending in a strawberry-like form and a double spray with fern and trefoil leaves and a flower. In between these are separate sprigs, alternating with a long spray with a large, a small flower and elaborate leaves, and a small spray of three flowers. The upper edge is straight. Plain mesh ground with various ornamental fillings used to enrich the design.
