Furnishing fabric of block-printed cotton chintz. On a tea ground, a game bird stands on an island of flowers beneath a plum tree. Madder colours, with added blue and yellow, are used to produce a fresh green liberally edged with yellow for the leaves and orange for the feathers of one bird.
