Two borders of bobbin lace worked in linen thread. Along the lower edge is a narrow border consisting of groups of four dots with a line above and tiny trefoil leaves and loops between. Above this is a wavy line of dots and a line of pairs of leaves with serrated edges. The rest of the border consists of diamond shaped dots arranged in rows on a six-sided mesh ground. There is a join in the centre of the border. A length of machine made net, 1.5 inches wide, has been attached to the upper part of the border.

Physical description
Two borders of bobbin lace worked in linen thread. Along the lower edge is a narrow border consisting of groups of four dots with a line above and tiny trefoil leaves and loops between. Above this is a wavy line of dots and a line of pairs of leaves with serrated edges. The rest of the border consists of diamond shaped dots arranged in rows on a six-sided mesh ground.
