Mechlin mesh, clothwork and a little half-stitch work outlined with a glossy gimp thread. Some wheat-ear and spider-mesh fillings. Lower scalloped edge bordered with flower heads within a solid, scalloped line and, on the inner side, an open-work serpentine line. Above the latter, naturalistic sprays of roses.
