Border of needlepoint lace, divided horizontally into two distinct parts; at the top is a broad band of fine réseau, decorated with a continuous pattern of naturalistic flowers. The lower section consists of a row of solidly-worked tabs, each containing a central panel decorated with a fancy filling pattern. There are four patterns repeating regularly at every fifth tab.
