Physical description

Furnishing fabric of silk twill satin. The black satin ground is covered with a small repeating pattern of leaves and flowers in brown-olive silk which looks like gold in some lights. Details of the flowers are picked out in bands of purple, deep yellow, bright pinky-red and pale pink.
