Woven furnishing textile sample with a dark olive green background which has a staggered pattern of plants with single beige stems bearing blue and mauve flowers and soft green leaves. This motif alternates with a small green floral sprig. The fabric is woven with a natural coloured woolen weft and green wool and brown cotton warp. The additional colours are rendered by block printing the weft.

There is a 1/4" selvedge on the right, all other edges being bound with machine stitching. Four metal rings are inset along the top. A small brown label is loosely stitched on the lower right hand corned inscribed '265700A'.
